Staff Profile

I have served as Education Secretary of Osogbo Local Government Education Authority, Osogbo between 1997 and 1999. I am currently the External Examiner for the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Department of Religious Studies, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo State and Osun State University, Osogbo. I have also served as the National Secretary of the Nigeria Association of Teachers of Arabic and Islamic Studies (NATAIS), a professional body of all teachers of Arabic and Islamic Studies in all institutions of learning in the country. I also served as the Chairman of the Faculty of Arts Postgraduate Committee. I am currently serving as the Head of Department of Religious Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
